2. Say the “Our Father” on the large bead.
3. Say three “Hail Marys” on the small beads.
4. Say the “Glory be to the Father”
5. Announce the First Mystery; then say the “our Father”.
6. Say ten "Hail Marys” while meditating on the Mystery.
7. Say the “Glory be to the Father”.

Then say the Fatima Prayer.
“O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are most in need of your mercy.”

Prayer to St. Michael The Archangel
St Michael The Archangel, defend us in the day of battle; be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May god rebuke him, we humbly pray and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Divine power of God, coast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of our souls. Amen.
NB The Fatima Prayer and Prayer to St. Michael are optional, but highly recommended after the “Glory be”.

Prayers of the Rosary

The Sign of the Cross.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Apostles’ Creed.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Our Father.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Hail Mary.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

The Glory be to the Father.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen

After the last Mystery say the:

The “Hail, Holy Queen”
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy; hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray.
O God, whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant we beseech Thee that meditating upon these mysteries in the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may both imitate what they contain, and obtain what they promise. Through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.V. May the divine assistance remain always with us.R. And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.R.

The “Memorare
”. Remember, O most gracious and loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thine intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee do I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

17th of January, 1971: “A well prayed rosary is a bond of intercession, a contemplation of the mysteries of faith… a prayer of the Lord… a prayer for the glorification of the most Holy Trinity when you pray: ‘Glory be to the Father’….Tell my children, they must pray the rosary…It is a ring of faith, which gives light to the prayer. It is a bond of union, of glory and intercession.”

25th of July, 1971: “Pierina, I desire this to be a place of prayer. Hither you shall invite people to pray the rosary. It is a prayer that is a very pleasing to the Lord.”Therefore, pray the Rosary daily.

Novena to Rosa Mystica

Prayers to the Rosa Mystica for a special intention.
(May be said as a novena for nine consecutive days)

Maria Rosa Mystica – Mystical Rose, Immaculate Conception – Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ – Mother of Grace – Mother of the Mystical Body, of the Church.You came down to earth to call upon us children of this earth to love each other, to unite, and live in peace. You request from us charity, prayer, and penance. We thank God from the bottom of our hearts that He has given you to us as our Mother and Mediatrix in all our needs. Mary, full of grace, please help me, I beseech you, and grant me my special intention….. (here mention your request) You promised us you motherly protection, full of graces: “I am always very close to you with My motherly love." Rosa Mystica, Immaculata, Mater Delorosa, please show me that you are my Mother, Bride of the Holy Ghost, and Queen of Heaven and Earth. Amen.
Hail Holy Queen…..

Daily Preparation for the Novena
Maria, Rosa Mystica, fragrant rose of mysticism, wonderful flower of divine knowledge, or purity and blinding beauty, of brilliant, shining glory, of power and overwhelming blessing love; we kneel before you to pray, to look, to listen; to look at you and to inhale your heavenly perfume until we have, above all, taken something of your immaculate pure, and perfect being into our inner selves; to pray that we should no longer, or above all, ask only for your gifts, for the salvation of , and help for, our body and soul; but to pray that we may become like you; that we may listen attentively and closely to every single word of yours which you have spoken not only in the past but even more so in the present, and more frequently and more imploringly.We do not always want to talk and beg but to listen and heed what you say, what your picture is already saying to us and asking us to do. We want to listen to your quiet motherly voice when it speaks to us so tenderly and consolingly with motherly understanding and warning. We want to open our hearts to you when He is looking into the bottom of our soul, to remain steadfast, to force ourselves not to say again we have no time instead to endure your sad glance even if we should blush and have to cast down our eyes….Mary, fragrant Rose of Mysticism, please help us to take a look inside ourselves and to examine ourselves, how we shall be able to bear your glance and stand firm before you; help us to know ourselves better, especially in those areas of thought and deed which displease you; help us to become more like you. We promise that we shall try. We also promise to imitate you. Please help us to work on ourselves, to let your love shine wherever we are able to work, but especially for the priests and religious.(3 Hail Marys……..)
O Mary, conceived without sin. Pray for us who take refuge in you.

First Day Consider:The extreme opposite to the Rosa Mystica; the dirtiest and most gruesome thing in the world; beauty and ugliness; the destruction of God and man in modern art, by the mass media, in the press, on radio and television; the destruction of all values and order before and in marriage, in education and at school, shameless fashion taken to extreme excesses; all this carried right into our churches and to the holiest places.
We pray: Maria, Rosa Mystica, please protect us from all shamelessness and degeneration, preserve in us the sense for good and evil; prepare us to do battle in defence for all that is pure.
Maria, Rosa Mystica, graciously hear us and pray for us. (3 Hail Mary…..)

Second Day Consider: It is not enough to observe how desolate and catastrophic the general situation is. At first, one must oneself be prepared not only to refuse to go with fashion but, as a penance, also to have to put up with something that is not really required, to go without something even if it is not sin. One ought to consider that one could also be guilty of a sin committed by others, by setting a bad example for them.
We pray: Maria, Rosa Mystica, grant that you will give us the true spirit of atonement, to fight the current of evil, to accept more often and voluntarily all the unpleasant things the more others fail you. Maria, Rosa Mystica, graciously hear us and pray for us. (3 Hail Mary……)
St. Paul: “I make up in my own body what is still missing in the sufferings of Christ!”And Padre Pio: “I should like to take up a hundredfold the sufferings which others deserve for their sins!”

Third Day Consider: Pious pilgrims in particular should note: “the reason prayers often do no bring the expected answer is because too little penance is done with the prayer.” One dresses just as comfortably and lightly as others, and one complains about little daily inconveniences. What would Mary say to this?
We pray:Maria, Rosa Mystica, grant that we do not forget true penance and reparation with all our prayers, at home and on journeys! Please grant us the right spirit when we come to you. Maria, Rosa Mystica, graciously hear us and pray for us. (3 Hail Mary…..)

Fourth DayConsider:
How to achieve all the before-mentioned? Two things are needed. 1. Our own effort to take time off, to think and meditate, to move away from television, celebrations, leisure, etc.; to learn to differentiate, to learn to do without; to exercise moderation in food, drink, and sleep, etc.; 2. Meditation on the Holy Sacraments and Sacramentals, on the Holy Rosary, the Holy Scriptures, and the life of Saints. In addition, a truly deeply religious and pious father confessor is needed as a spiritual director. This would be by way of one’s own effort, of “active cleansing”. God Himself will help us through His Grace and His Guidance even in sorrow, when we are humiliated, disappointed, and suffer set-backs. Become totally free for God; break away from all attachments to the world and people, be free for the incomprehensible Glory of God.
We pray:Maria, Rosa Mystica, grant that you may help us and lead us in our efforts. Maria, Rosa Mystica, graciously hear us and pray for us. (3 Hail Mary…..)

Fifth Day Consider: The change when God takes everything away from man which blocks his path to God; when He helps you to leave everything; when He takes away one’s close attachment to people and things, even one’s consolations; when He leads you into the very darkest “night of the spirit” without any consolation; when there is nothing but darkness and sorrow, and when one can still say like little St. Therese or Padre Pio: “I believe”, then all natural things and created things are removed, and God is able to let flow the abundance of His Graces, knowledge and charisma into one’s body and soul without hindrance.Let us dare to say this prayer with its full weight and accept its possible consequences as Brother St. Klaus, the patron saint of Switzerland, once prayed: “My Lord and God, take everything from me, everything that may prevent me from coming to you. Give me everything that brings me close to you. Take me and do with me as you please!” (3 Hail Mary…..)

Sixth Day Consider:Together with Brother Klaus and the great Carmelites, St. John of the Cross, Theresa the Great, and little Therese, we are now on the right path of our true devotion to Mary, the veneration of the “Rosa Mystica”, the “mystical rose”, and we may speak the words of St. Louis de Montfort:“The quickest and easiest way to mysticism is Mary – the Rose of Mysticism”.At the same time we must, however, prevent ourselves from falling under the widely-spread misunderstanding to believe that x-many recited rosaries together with x-many pilgrimages and devotions have now given us the “ticket to Heaven”, otherwise we deceive ourselves! St. Louis de Montfort knows very well how to differentiate between faked and genuine Marian devotion; not just any way leads to mysticism! A whole list of wrong ways of Marian devotions are mentioned by him: e.g. the anxious way, the impertinent way, the superficial way, the selfish way (how much selfishness there is in spiritual intentions!), etc.Devotion to Mary must be genuine, needs inner preparation and co-operation, it needs devotion that is really trying hard not only to recite casually x-many beautiful prayers and “devotions” but also to inhale the real spirit of Mary; to do everything “with Mary, in Mary, for Mary”, to ask oneself consciously and with your innermost heart: “What does Mary want from me? What would She do in my place? How can I please Her? What would She certainly disagree with /” What changes would occur in the world, in the life of a person, in families, societies, and in nations if one were really prepared to be led by Mary.
We pray:Maria, Rosa Mystica, help us to get to know you more and more, lead us and guide us that we may be able to find the path to your mysticism. Amen. (3 Hail Mary…..)

Seventh Day Consider:There is very little written in the Scriptures about mysticism (supernatural unity with God) in Mary’s life on earth, and in Her transformation. Some general remarks only: “Blessed, full of grace.” The conception in Her womb – judging by the text in the Bible – can only be surmised with deepest reverence; in any event something extremely great and mysteriously enchanting happened when the infinite, eternal love was united with the most loving human heart that ever existed, and will ever exist; united in order to create a tiny yet infinitely great being. However, we do not only possess the Bible. The dogmas, the meditations and writings of our great theologians and fathers of the Church, the revelations to mystics, whether male or female, all of them open the seed for us which is already contained in the Holy Scriptures, full of meaning. With what deep amazement do we read Mary of Agreda’s book but the “Mystical City of God”, how fascinating the way in which she tells us about the Devine Powers and the ability of knowing, helping and loving, the ecclesiastical ”experts”. There are still the many different apparitions of Our Lady in the world, and Her revelations. There would be no end if we wanted to recount all the wonderful results and consequences which happened as a result of them: Her knowledge of the human heart, of a single person, of whole groups, nations and ideologies (e.g. Communism); Her insight into Church world politics; Her blinding beauty and overwhelming goodness; Her geniality and knowledge of languages… just incredible; high and exalted above all artists and Nobel prize winners….The results of mysticism are powerful.
We pray:Maria, Rosa Mystica, grant that mankind may find it's way to the most beautiful things, to the glories of the supernatural that surpass nature itself. Please give us the fervour to seek this wonderful Divinity and to lead others to it so that they may learn to recognise how poor the delights and desires of this world are compared with Mary, the “Rosa Mystica”. (3 Hail Mary…..)

Eighth Day Consider:The effects of the Rosa Mystica in us. The more we are prepared to walk the path with Mary, the path She walked Herself, with inner devotion, with merciless self control, in renunciation of all superficial pleasures; the more we work apostolically in Her spirit; the more we imitate what is contained in the mysteries of the Holy Rosary and mentioned in the Church’s prayer for the Feast of the Holy Rosary, the more we shall then “receive what they promise”. This then is our request, our Prayer:O God, whose only begotten Son has prepared for us the treasures of eternal salvation through His Life, His Death and Resurrection, grant we beseech you that when we meditate on the mysteries of the Holy Rosary of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary and imitate what they contain, we shall receive what they promise through Christ, Our Lord. Amen. (3 Hail Marys…..)

Ninth Day Consider:The special intention of the Mother of God; vocations to priesthood and religious life.Even if every Christian is called to holiness and mysticism, it is of even greater meaning and importance for the priests and religious. They should venerate and imitate their ideal, Mary, the Rosa Mystica, in a special way; and this is something that is missing quite often, most of all in our seminaries, monasteries and convents. It ought, therefore, to be a special apostolate to spread the purpose and meaning of this devotion in those houses, for nowhere more saints and mystics are needed than there. The task of the laity will be to replace what is missing, through their own apostolate and a more zealous imitation of the Rosa Mystica!3 Our Father…..3 Hail Mary…..3 Glory Be…..for the sanctification of priests, bishops, and religious; for special guidance and strengths for the Holy Father.

Final Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, you have sent us your Mother as a wonderful example of holiness and mysticism and especially as an ideal and patroness for the priests and religious. We ask you, grant us Your help to imitate Your Most Holy Mother more and more, to become souls of expiation and victim souls for those priests and religious, who fail you: You who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.

O Almighty and merciful God, Who for the triumph of Thy mercy and the salvation of souls hast granted to the Immaculate Virgin Mary boundless powers over the Heart of Jesus, grant, we beseech Thee that by Her prayers and intercession we may avoid the contagion of sin and serve Thee with a pure heart, and that we may live and die in Thy holy love.

O Mother, you are leading the way for us in your love for your Son, Jesus Christ. Together with you, let us help the afflicted religious but especially our priests. They have the most sacred power and authority to transform wine and bread into the Body of Your Son; they are the intermediaries between God and us; they bear the great responsibility for our souls. But we are also responsible for the Holy Church to produce holy priest. Help us through Your Immaculate Heart, O sorrowful mother, who is burning with love for us. Amen.

Prayers for Church and Faithful

Prayer for Priests
R.O almighty and eternal God. Look upon the face of Christ, and for love of Him who is the eternal high-priest. Have pity on Priests. Remember O most compassionate God. That they are but weak and frail human beings. Stir up in them the grace of their vocation which is in them by the imposition of the Bishop’s hands. Keep them close to Thee, lest the enemy prevail against them, so that, they may never do anything in the slightest degree unworthy of their sublime vocation.
O Jesus, I pray Thee;
For Thy faithful and fervent priests;
For Thy unfaithful and tepid priests;
For Thy priests labouring at home or abroad in distant mission fields;
For Thy tempted priests;
For Thy lonely and desolate priests;
For Thy young priests;
For Thy aged priests;
For Thy sick priests;
For Thy dying priests;
For Thy Priests whose souls are in purgatory.
But above all, I commend to thee the priests dearest to me;
The priest who baptized me;
The priests who absolved me from my sins;
The priests at whose masses I assisted;
And who gave me Thy body and blood in holy communion;
The priests who taught and instructed me;
Or helped and encouraged my;
O Jesus, keep them all close to Thy heart, and bless them abundantly in time and eternity. Amen.

The Annunciation – Humility – Mary learns from the Angel Gabriel that God wishes her to be the Mother of God, and she humbly accepts. (Luke 1:26-38).
Let us find time to pray!
Prayer is our most important work!
Prayer is our most blessed work!
Prayer can become the greatest force!
Ever united with Mary and the Holy Angels!

Pierina Gilli was repeatedly vouchsafed visions of Our Blessed Lady and received her messages. In prayer, and especially at Holy Communion, she also received and still receives clear interior intimations which are not only her own thoughts and meditations, but have an obvious charismatic origin and charge. In these inward intimations, the requests of the Saviour and His blessed Mother are quite unrecognisable. Mary not only requests prayer, penance, atonement, she herself offers such prayers. Especially for those united in the World League of Expiation do the requests and mission of the ‘Rosa Mystica’ in Montichiari become particularly clear and distinctly visible.

Prayers to the ‘Rosa Mystica’

1. O Mary, ‘Rosa Mystica’, Mother of Jesus and our Mother! You are our hope, our strength, and our solace. In your Motherly love, grant us from heaven your sacred blessing, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
2. ‘Rosa Mystica’ unsullied Virgin, Mother of Grace, we prostrate ourselves before you in honour of your Divine Son, to plead for God’s mercy. Not on account of any merits of ours, but because of the kindness of your Motherly Heart, we beg for help and grace in the certain knowledge that you will hear us. ‘Ave Maria . .
3. ‘Rosa Mystica’, Mother of Jesus, Queen of the Holy Rosary, and Mother of the Church, the Mystical Body of Christ, we pray for the gift of unity and peace for the world torn apart by discord and for all the graces which are able to convert so many of your children. ‘Hail Mary . . .’
4. ‘Rosa Mystica’, Queen of Apostles, cause many priestly and religious vocations to flower round the Eucharistic altars of the Church so that those called may, by the holiness of their lives and their ardent love for souls, extend the Kingdom of your Son throughout the world! ‘Ave Maria . . . ‘‘Hail Mary . . .’ ‘Rosa Mystica’, Mother of the Church, pray for us! (With Ecclesiastical Imprimatur)

To the Mother of All Priests

Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, under the Cross you became the Mother of the Apostles, and so also, the Mother of all priests. Your house is the Church, your table, the altar; your servants are the angels, and your sons, the priests, change bread and wine as of old. The Lord said, “Take eat . . . This is my Body . . . Drink . . . This is My Blood!” He had not only earthly bread in mind, when He taught us the “Our Father”, he wishes Himself to be our daily Bread!
Ever faithful Mother, you wish your house, the Church, to be preserved and well ordered. Pray for a constant supply of priests so that the daily bread of eternal life may always be supplied!
Send your angels into families, so that joy in the service of God may be cultivated, so that the service of the King may become their vocation.
Send again your angels, so that holy priests may lead these young men to the altar. A holy crusade for God is needed. An effort to preserve the purity of our holy Faith and the good shepherd is more than ever necessary; now that the wolf has broken into the fold.
Intercede also, Mother of all priests, for all those priests in peril or in error, who no longer see their way and their goal and choose to follow their own opinions.
No mother deserts her child when it is in danger. Send them your holy angels with warnings so urgent that they cannot be ignored!
Mary, Our Lord’s Mother, hold out as ransom money to your Divine son, your hands, your Heart and your tears. He will accept them all, and grant His priests, the true light, due strength and the joy they have lost awhile. Amen.

The Prayer of a Priest

Lord, let me plead with you in the words of St. Augustine, “Good Jesus, make your dwelling in me. Kindle in my soul the glowing ember of love for You so that it may become a blazing fire. May it burn upon the altar of my heart, penetrate with its warmth my very marrow, inflame the most hidden depths of my soul. On the day of my consummation, grant that I may be found perfect in Your sight”. O You, who live and reign as King with the Father and the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
Good Jesus, help me to be a priest after Your own Heart.
Heart of Jesus, Love’s Lamb of Sacrifice, grant that I may become a living, holy and worthy sacrificial offering for you!

For Priests Unfaithful in Their Vocation

Divine saviour, Jesus Christ, You are the Good Shepherd who gives His life for His sheep. Be a Good Shepherd especially to the poor, to straying priests and religious, whom You appointed as leaders of Your people, but who have broken their oath of fidelity to their sacred calling and have been unfaithful to their holy vocation. Bestow upon these poorest of Your creatures, the Shepherd’s loving care for the sheep that go astray. Touch their hearts with the all-conquering ray of Your grace, of Your compassionate love! Enlighten their spirits and strengthen their wills, so that they may turn their backs to all sin and error and return to Your holy altar and Your people.O most gentle saviour, remember that You once purchased the souls of misguided priests and religious with Your precious Blood, and loving selected them to bear the inextinguishable mark of priesthood and holy consecration. Bring utterly to nought those deplorable accomplices of Satan who try to undermine the virtue of priests, and imperil their holy priestly ideals. Accept our prayers and sacrifices for the poor misguided priests and religious, and graciously hear us. Amen.
